Scholarship winner will be provided an all-expense paid trip to the Dominican Republic. Trip includes airfare, lodging, meals, transportation, tours and all baseball and cultural activities. Winners will join a mixed group of players from around the U.S. to form a 15 person team. This team will be coached by a Division I college coach. Players will also receive coaching from Dominican coaches.

This is a unique opportunity to experience baseball in a country which is famous for its passion for the game. In addition to the baseball experience players who take this trip enjoy a wonderful cultural experience and opportunity to use baseball to bridge cultural gaps.

The winning participants will be chosen based on: good citizenship; academic and athletic achievment; and financial need.
