2011 Winners have been announced: Tyler Moneymaker from Monticello High School and Michael Layman from Buckingham High School.
Win a scholarship for an all-expense paid baseball trip to the Dominican Republic. All high school varsity level players from the city of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Greene, Orange, Louisa, Fluvanna, Buckingham, and Nelson are eligible to apply. The winning applicants will join 14 other players and a Division I college coach on a weeklong trip to the Dominican Republic in summer 2011.
Dates: August 3-9

The trip will include:
- Dominican style practices with Dominican players and coaches
- A series of games
- Tours and cultural activities
- Fun at the beach
All high school players age 16 and above in the geographic areas noted above are eligible to apply. For more details, click here.
